Abstract

The DL offers the possibility of collaborative scholarship, but the appropriate tools must be integrated within the DL to serve this purpose. We propose aWeb-based tool to guide controlled data annotations that link items in the DL to a domain-specific ontology and which provide an effective means to query a data collection in an abstract and uniform fashion.
