Waveguiding in polycrystalline GaP grown on SiO2 by molecular beam deposition

Abstract

Loss measurements at a wavelength of 632 nm are presented for optical waveguides fabricated in polycrystalline GaP grown directly on SiO2. Devices fabricated in poly-GaP on diamond are also shown.
