Abstract
Restructuring in the electricity industry is resulting in a need for innovative new methods for representing large amounts of system data. An overview is given of some new visualization techniques that could be useful for the representation of this data. Animation, contouring, and interactive 3D are techniques that should prove to be quite useful.
