Abstract

This chapter will discuss all aspects of the urinalysis; gross examination, chemistry and sediment. The urinalysis is an amazing diagnostic test that allows the interpreter to evaluate the kidneys and the lower urinary tract. Images of cells, microorganisms and crystals are helpful for evaluation of the urine sediment.
