Abstract

In this article, after a brief presentation of the Item Response Theory, it is introduced the scale anchoring process presented by Beaton and Allen’s (1992) for scales interpretation; and a procedure to obtain the needed performance levels is introduced. The proposed methodology is used to interpret a “People in my life” questionnaire scale (Cook, Greenberg & Kusche, 1995; Camargo, Mejía, Herrera & Carrillo, 2007).
