Abstract

An overview is given on the use of twist averaged boundary condition (TABC) to reduce finite size effects (FSE) in the energy caused by the quantization of momentum with twisted boundary conditions (TBC). Results for TABC are given for the interacting electron gas using a pair product and backflow wave function in 3D.
