Triton form factor from 0.29 to 1.00 fm-2

Abstract

Recoil tritons were detected from the elastic electron scattering reaction H3(e,t)e′. From these data charge form factors were determined in the range 0.29≤qμ2≤1.0 fm-2. No significant change in the previously reported charge radius for H3 was found. NUCLEAR REACTIONS H3(e,t), E=77-147 MeV, measured σ(E,Er,θr) deduced charge form factor, rms charge radius.
