Abstract

We present format conversion of 10-Gb/s NRZ-OOK to RZ-OOK via XPM in a Si Photonic-Wire with a 2.5-dB 10-9 BER-receiver-sensitivity enhancement for the converted signal. Scalability of the technique beyond 160 Gb/s is shown theoretically.
