Abstract
The extension of support operator method (SOM) onto an unstructured quadrilateral grid was discussed. In SOM, a discrete approximation was defined for a first order differential operators which satisfied the appropriate integral identity. It was observed that a discrete space field solution in time domain would neither grow or decay in time. It was also observed that the algorithms was stable even after the 10 7 time steps.
