Abstract
The article offers information on a rockcastle shelter located in southern Illinois. It states that the sandstone bedrock lines both sides of the valley with some vertical bluffs towering above the valley floor, and allowing lateral movement in and out of the valley, and mentions that the shelter has an array of archaeological images that have been documented over a series of site visits. It mentions different images like bird and snake.
