Abstract
It is time not for a return to traditional curriculum but for rethinking the nature of pedagogy. It is time to start thinking about the dimensions of a reconstituted pedagogy - an explicit pedagogy for inclusion and access. This involves processes of historical recovery - of reconstituting and recombining elements of the three major historically evolved pedagogies more than it involves invention. As such, it is based on a critique of inherent difficulties in each of these pedagogies.
