Abstract

Two different methods for the localization of Con A indicate that this lectin is bound to the surface of Dictyostelium discoideum amoebae. Redistribution of the Con A receptors occurs both on cells in suspension and cells moving on an agar surface. Internalization of the Con A does not occur.
