Abstract

Four steps may be identified in writing the case history of an organisation, namely: the organisation's life-trajectory or public career; the rules, assumptions and moral stance of the organisation; the role of external and internal forces, and the extent to which the organisation is embedded in the personal lives of the participants.-J.SheailEnglish
