Abstract

I describe the camera (DECam) that we are building in order to perform the Dark Energy Survey on the Blanco telescope at Cerro Tololo (CTIO). The DES science goals are described in John Peoples' talk. DECam will also be available to the astronomy community as a CTIO facility instrument.
