The Abolition of Capitalist Work and Reimagining Labor

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

In this chapter, we provide a brief description of our respective positionalities as radical Black scholars to contextualize our assertion that only through the abolition of capitalist work and a reimagining of labor can the majority of Black people thrive as individuals and as a community. We outline the influence of race and racism/racial oppression within workplaces and conclude with recommendations to transform the nature of work and worksites.
