Abstract
The three-dimensional fluid flow in a cube is computed by an efficient computational algorithm using multigrid techniques, efficient data structuring, and a segregated pressure-velocity update procedure. Fine grid calculations with up to 1 million nodes have been performed in approximately one CPU minute on a CRAS-YMP. The convergence and statistics of the computations are reported in this paper.
