Abstract

Through thermal annealing experiments, the impact of the cladding and draw conditions on the observed Brillouin gain spectra in acoustically anti-guiding optical fibers is presented. The draw conditions can be used to fine-tune the interaction for various sensing and high-power fiber applications.
