Abstract
In this talk I examine the similaraties and differences between superfluidity in liquid 3He and superconductivity in heavy-fermion systems, and ask what lessons, if any, can be drawn from the former for the latter. Among other things I discuss the effects of translation invariance or the lack of it, possible symmetries and the role of "Fermi-liquid" effects in the two systems.
