Superconducting properties of polycrystalline Nb nanowires templated by carbon nanotubes

Abstract

Superconducting properties of polycrystalline Nb nanowires were discussed. Transmission electron microscopy was used and wires were fabricated by sputter-coating technique. Results showed that the wires are polycrystalline in nature having grain size of about 5 nm.
