Comprises papers presented at the 35th annual clinic on Library Applications of Data Processing (March 1998). Eleven contributions and an introduction by the editors address issues connected with the implementation of useful and user-friendly digital libraries, including close looks at the process in serveral libraries and discussion of such topics as technology transfer in a public university, a publisher's perspective, the future of annotation, and semantic issues for digital libraries.
