Abstract

Nanostructured surfaces are applied towards point-of-care diagnostic biosensing. Photonic crystal enhanced fluorescence is used for detection of cancer biomarkers in serum. Metal nanodomes integrated with biomedical tubing to monitor intravenously delivered drugs and urinary metabolites.
