Abstract

The article presents information on Strontium Isotope analysis, a tool for assessing the role of immigration in the formation of Cahokia historic site in St. Louis in Illinois, which is considered as Americas first city. It refers to an investigation of immigrant hypothesis for Cahokia's population growth.
