Abstract

This tutorial surveys topics that presently define the state of the art in parallel simulation. Included in the tutorial are discussions on hardware support for parallel simulation, load balancing algorithms, dynamic memory managment for optimistic synchronization, new protocols, mat hematical performance analysis, and time parallelism.
