Stability of VinC LIM in Power Distribution Network Analysis

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

This work examines the stability properties of the latency insertion method in the analysis of complex interconnection schemes such as power distribution networks. We specifically study the voltage-in-current formulation of the algorithm and its ability to ensure unconditional stability. A basic circuit cell is defined and analyzed to derive the conditions for stability. It is found that for the particular basic cell, the algorithm is unconditionally stable. These properties are illustrated through several network examples.
