Speckle-free imaging lidar without motion blur using moderate-coherence, nanosecond-pulsed lasers

Abstract

Rapidly-moving targets are illuminated and imaged from distances as far as five meters using a single five-nanosecond pulse from a moderate-coherence laser. The resulting images are free of speckle and motion blur.
