Sequential multihypothesis testing and nonuniform costs with applications in hybrid serial search

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract

A sequential multihypothesis test designed for use with nonuniform decision costs is presented and its performance is characterized. Asymptotic efficiency of the test is shown, and the use of sequential multihypothesis tests in hybrid serial search schemes is discussed.
