Abstract
A novel algorithm for the passive estimation of bearings of multiple uncorrelated wideband sources is presented. This algorithm overcomes the limitation in previous algorithms on the number of resolvable sources imposed by the number of sensors. In an example, bearings of 10 sources are estimated by a two-element array, with error variances approaching the Cramer-Rao bounds.
