Segregation and linkage of allozymes of the walnut husk fly

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The genetics of electrophoretic variants (allozymes) of 11 enzymes of the walnut husk fly, Rhagoletis completa, has been investigated by single-pair crosses. With few exceptions, allozymes segregated as simple Mendellan genes. However, three enzyme genes display an unusual form of sex linkage. Four linkage groups have been established.
