Abstract
Most domestic violence shelters are in urban areas, with rural communities significantly underserved. Written by a law librarian, this article explains how rural librarians can provide assistance to victims of domestic violence when no alternative sources are available, while keeping within the rules states have concerning the “unauthorized practice of law.”
