Abstract

This paper introduces the first results in vibrational control of nonlinear systems with time delays. Total vibrational stabilizability conditions for a class of nonlinear time lag systems are given and two examples of their stabilization by vibrations are presented. The theory developed permits synthesis of stabilizing vibrations for nonlinear time lag systems and investigation of robustness of oscillatory stabilizes effects with respect to the magnitude of the delays and the parameters of oscillations.
