Abstract

Plants, in order to grow, possess a set of structures and mechanisms for ‘capturing’ resources from the environment. The four main environmental resources are light, water, nutrients and CO2. In this chapter, the capture of light, water and nitrogen resources by Miscanthus are reviewed.
