Abstract
The Supreme Court’s 2001 Term was noteworthy, if not momentous in many areas, including the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). In 2002, the Court, building on a trend established over the past few years, handed down four decisions on the controversial and complicated legislation. US Airways, Inc. v. Barnett, the case on which we focus, is the most significant of these recent ADA rulings.
