Abstract
The article offers the author's insights on the special issue "Queer Theory's Return to France," edited by Hector Kollias and Oliver Davis. He says that the issue demonstrates lost in translation that are justified in speaking of psychic, as well as linguistic and intellectual tolls claimed by the intercultural traffic in ideas. He mentions that queer theory focus on erotic practices without stretching the domain of recognizability, since it only worsens the imaginary politics of recognition.
