Quantification of rat cervical microstructure using fourier transform-second-harmonic generation imaging

Abstract

We apply Fourier transform-second-harmonic generation imaging to evaluate unstained rat cervical tissue in both 2D and 3D. Our technique validates the existence of 3D microstructures consisting of collagen fibers in rat cervical tissue.
