Abstract

Research in psychological contracts at work continues to expand and advance. In this article, we summarize and integrate this scholarship, addressing definitional issues, theoretical perspectives, plus antecedents and consequences of psychological contract breach (PCB). We identify future research opportunities that can enrich our understanding of PCB and its consequences for employees' work attitudes and behaviors.
