Abstract

Unpublished reports are a valuable source of information that is essential to both academic and industrial research. The Engineering Documents Center collection at the Grainger Engineering Library of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign makes technical documents produced by the College of Engineering faculty available through a locally developed Web interface. This paper describes a study conducted to enhance the interface into a digital portal to the print collection.
