Abstract
A dielectric permittivity study of the dc electric field-induced ferroelectric phase in lead magnoniobate has been carried out. Both the linear and dynamic nonlinear components of the complex dielectric permittivity of a sample were analyzed under different bias field conditions. The regions of stability of the field-induced state on the E-T diagram were determined. The observed phase transition has been shown to be first order.
