Abstract

1. Imidazoline aldonitrones are spin traps for alkoxy radicals. 2. It has been shown to be possible to obtain preparatively cyclic methoxynitrones and stable nitroxyl radicals with methoxy-groups attached to the α-carbon atom, by the oxidation of cyclic aldonitrones in methanol.
