Abstract

The article presents information on a preliminary analyses of prehistoric dog feces (coprolites) from the Janey B. Goode site, St. Clair County, Illinois. It reports on the Illinois State Archaeological Survey (ISAS) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign research on a unique sample of dog coprolites. The coprolites were found during extensive archaeological investigations at the Janey B. Goode (JBG) site.
