Abstract

This paper shows how to predict the quantitative fiber orientation distribution for compression molded parts, using a model recently developed by F. Folgar and C. L. Tucker. Experimental results for concentrated suspensions are compared to the model. The examination is limited to thin compression model parts, so the fibers have a planar orientation.
