Abstract

Data-taking has been completed on a new high precision experiment at the Los Alamos Meson Physics Facility (LAMPF) to determine the muonium (μ+e-) ground state hyperfine structure interval Δν (to approximately 10 ppb) and the muon to proton magnetic moment ratio μμp (to approximately 90 ppb), each corresponding to about a fourfold improvement compared to present knowledge.
