Abstract

The paper discusses a communication aid designed to provide basic language capabilities to severely motored impaired individuals in educational and vocational situations. The aid can be used for writing, conversation, and, with the use of keyboard emulators, access to standard computers. Subjects covered include the input interface, amplification, and output functions.
