Abstract

Summary of data from social media posts, internet forums, pirnted literature and unstructured interviews with private breeders, the CITES trade database, the IUCN Red List, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service Law Enforcement Management Information System to create a list of poison frog species known to be in captivity. Compares red list categories of traded and non-traded species, and source of color morphs entering U.S. collections.
