Abstract

We show preliminary photon-pair generation data from Raman-active interstitial N2 defects in silicon nitride waveguides. Using calculated phase-mismatch of the propagating photons, we propose an experimental scheme for deterministic single-photon generation using non-degenerate pumping wavelengths.
