Photochemical oxygen atom transfer by metalloporphyrins

Abstract

The authors have shown that Mn porphyrin complexes of various oxoanions can be photochemically converted to metal-oxo complexes and that these can serve to oxidize various substrates stoichiometrically and in some cases catalytically.
