It is anticipated that the acoustic variable formulation will be more useful for incorporating OHC electromechanics into cochlear micromechanics. For guidance on the interdependency of the acoustic and electrical quantities and to aid physical intuition we also present piezoelectric circuit diagram for the OHC.",
