Abstract
In this paper, remote control of a class of plants over unreliable communication links is studied. The motivation of the problem comes from growing applications that demand remote control of objects over the Internet using TCP or UDP type protocols. The objective is to minimize a quadratic performance criterion when information flow between the controller and the plant is disrupted due to packet losses.
