Abstract

A minimax terminal state estimation problem is considered which can be viewed as a mathematical model for an estimation problem in which an attempt is made to track an uncooperative target with basically unknown maneuvering capabilities in a relatively noisy environment. The problem can also be thought of as a stochastic two-person zero-sum game in which the players are the tracker and the evader.
