On the nature of dynamic scaling in spinodal decomposition

Abstract

Conclusive evidence is given for the scaling behavior of the form factor for (scalar) spinodal decomposition. This highlights the distinction between the phase ordering dynamics of the scalar model and that of the model with infinite-component order parameter. The latter is characterized by the multiscaling behavior.
