Abstract

Reactions of deuteriocatecholborane (C₆H₄₋ O₂BD) with alkenes in the presence of rhodium(+l) complexes have been reinvestigated. Distributions of label in the products differ significantly from those reported previously, and alternative rationales for these observations are provided.
